Powerless, Alt. View 3

Power Girl was on her knees, head down, eyes closed.   A robotic hand, holding her by the neck of her costume, kept her from pitching forward.  

The battle had lasted only a few seconds.  Power Girl had flown in to deliver her trademark punch.  The metallic maiden simply fired a light beam irradiated with Kryptonite, knocking her out of the sky.   Power Girl landed in front of the robot.  Groggy from the blast, she was slow to rise.   Another less intense beam zapped her from behind as she tried to push herself into a standing position.  Her consciousness faded to black.
