Table Talk with Manami, Alt. View

During an interview the current champ Manami was interrupted by the top contender for her belt, Lisa Carter.   Her unannounced entrance coincided with a takeover of the screens displaying the results of her match last week with Manami:  both women were laid out in the middle of the ring, Manami by Lisa, and Lisa by a masked woman that had jumped her as she about to pin Manami.    Immediately afterward the ref rung the bell.  Lisa took the win via disqualification, which meant the belt stayed with Manami.  The champ vehemently denied any knowledge of the Pearl Harbor attack.

Lisa had expected to embarrass the champ during her interview.  After all, she had beat her fair and square in the ring.   Today she discovered that one fight does not necessarily predicate future outcomes.  Manami laid her out cold with a right hook to the jaw, then, relishing her victory, posed and preened for the camera as she lay sprawled across the table behind her.
